Health Screenings Grade 7 body mass index (height and weight) screenings are underway. Grade 6 vision and hearing screenings will be done in November and December, and grades 6,7, and 8 postural screenings will be done in winter 2013.

Handwashing and the "safety cough" are the best ways to stay healthy and avoid spreading germs. Wash your hands using soap and warm water, lather for 30 seconds, rinse, and dry with paper towel. Cough into your sleeve, not into your hands.

Please bring donations of tissue boxes  to the JMS health office. I will distribute tissue boxes with the goal of providing  all classrooms and offices with tissues to contain coughs and sneezes! Thank you for any help you can provide to help keep JMS healthy.

lllness guidelines. Please keep your child home when ill. Also, be sure that your child remains out of school and all public places until he/she has been fever-free for 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medication.
